Please understand:
Only about half of the words listed on the master list actually have video representations at this point, and aside from very intangible words like "for", i dont put words in the mix unless they have a video associated with them. What does that mean? It means you're currently writing poetry with a very limited vocabulary!
Words that already have videos need more representations, and words that dont have videos (obviously) need more also. The dream for this project is that every word will have hundreds of videos associated with it, so that each time you play a new version of your poem you will actually see a new version of the video. A new perspective. So what you "should" do if you want to participate in the project is really just what you already do, discover words you are missing. But take it one step further, and make videos that will play for those words. Also, discover where the existing video for a particular word is not quite "on" for you... doesnt quite fit, and make one that does.
How to participate:
Post your video somewhere and complete this form. Once I have reformatted the clip, i will add it in! It's that simple. Please don't be shy, your entries are what makes this project exciting and universal. Without you, its only my view of the world.
Keep in mind:
-There is a pre-determined list of words here. Stick to those for now please
-Video will only be 2-3 seconds in length, so choose a good short segment
-Resolution must be 320x240 or larger
-I do reserve the right to refuse any video for any reason
(but hopefully it won't come to that!)
